 250 Units Sold in August, with G318 Leading Segment Sales… GB Auto Strengthens the Brand’s Competitiveness with New Pricing, Additional Models and a New 3S Facility in New Cairo.

– GB Auto, the exclusive agent for DEEPAL in Egypt, continues to strengthen the brand’s presence in the Egyptian market after leading sales in the Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (REEV) segment in August, as well as on a cumulative basis since the beginning of the year, reflecting growing consumer interest in electric mobility solutions in Egypt.
According to the latest report issued by the Egyptian Compulsory Motor Insurance Pool and published in Al-Ahram newspaper, DEEPAL recorded sales of 250 units in August, ranking first in the Extended-Range Electric Vehicle segment, while total sales since the beginning of the year reached 1,135 units, maintaining the brand’s cumulative leadership of the segment.
These results reflect growing consumer interest in Extended-Range Electric Vehicle technology, which combines the benefits of electric driving with the flexibility required for longer journeys—advantages that DEEPAL delivers through a diverse range of models and advanced technologies.
DEEPAL G318 continued its strong performance, leading REEV segment sales in August with 131 units sold. The G318 combines a bold design with advanced capabilities, featuring REEV technology, up to 316 kW of power output, and an electric driving range of 963 kilometers under the NEDC standard.
DEEPAL S05 also delivered a strong performance during the month, ranking third in the REEV segment with 95 units sold, further demonstrating its competitiveness in one of the fastest-growing segments of the Egyptian automotive market. The model is available with REEV technology, combining electric driving with extended range, as well as a fully electric BEV version.
This performance comes alongside GB Auto’s announcement of new, more competitive pricing for DEEPAL models. Current announced prices start at EGP 1.599 million for the S05, while the G318 is priced at approximately EGP 2.050 million, improving value for customers and supporting the brand’s expansion in the Egyptian market.
As part of its efforts to broaden customer choice, DEEPAL has introduced a new green color option for the G318, giving the model a more distinctive presence while expanding the range of choices available to customers.
DEEPAL is also preparing to further expand its lineup in Egypt by introducing additional models in the coming period. The current lineup includes the G318, S07, and S05, featuring REEV and BEV technologies designed to meet customers’ diverse needs.
As part of its efforts to expand its distribution and after-sales network, GB Auto is preparing to open a new DEEPAL 3S facility on the Ring Road in New Cairo soon, offering integrated sales, maintenance, and spare-parts services at a single location. The new facility will support the brand’s customer base expansion while further enhancing the DEEPAL ownership experience in Egypt.
With DEEPAL leading the REEV segment both in August and on a cumulative basis since the beginning of the year, the brand continues to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market through a strategy focused on product diversification, competitive pricing, and the expansion of its sales and service network, supporting GB Auto’s growth plans and reinforcing DEEPAL’s position in Egypt’s electric vehicle market.
