Chevrolet Strengthens Its Presence in Egypt with New Showroom on Cairo’s Ring Road

General Motors Egypt (GME) in collaboration with sole distributor Mansour automotive Group has strengthened its presence in the Egyptian market with the opening of the new Al Osman Showroom on Cairo’s Ring Road, making Chevrolet’s passenger and commercial vehicle portfolio more accessible to customers.

The location reflects the scale of that ambition. The showroom sits on one of Cairo’s main transport corridors, linking the capital with neighboring cities and the Delta region, and serves a high-traffic route with significant commercial and fleet activity. The opening also comes at a time of continued development for Chevrolet in Egypt, with the brand preparing to add further offerings to its portfolio in the months ahead.

For General Motors, the opening is also a statement about Chevrolet’s standing in the market. Rohan Fernandes, Chairman and Managing Director, GM Egypt and Africa, said: “General Motors has been a committed presence in Egypt for more than four decades, and the market remains strategically important to us. Chevrolet holds a distinctive place here as a leading and much-loved brand, one that customers across a wide range of segments continue to choose with confidence. We are pleased to witness the opening of Al Osman showroom, which builds on that strong foundation and reaffirms our commitment to Egypt. As we look ahead, we see an exciting period of continued momentum for Chevrolet in the market.”

Behind the expansion is a partnership that continues to deliver. Ankush Arora, Group CEO at Mansour Automotive, said: “The opening of the Al Osman Showroom represents another milestone in Mansour Automotive’s long-term commitment to strengthening Chevrolet’s presence in Egypt and supporting the brand’s continued growth in the market. Our partnership with General Motors has been built over decades on a shared commitment to quality, reliability and customer confidence, and this expansion reflects the strength of that relationship. By broadening Chevrolet’s physical footprint, we are reinforcing our confidence in the Egyptian market and bringing the brand closer to a wider base of customers across both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments.”

As the first Chevrolet showroom in the country designed to the brand’s latest Corporate Identity standards, it spans two floors and 181.5 square meters, with displays for both passenger and commercial vehicles and capacity for three to eight vehicles. A dedicated EV display lane and charging station complete the facility.
